राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के सरकार्यवाह भैय्याजी जोशी ने आज कर्णावती (गुजरात) मे आयोजित सामाजिक सदभाव बैठक को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि हिन्दू समाज कभी भी विनाशकारी नहीं रहा है, इस समाज ने हमेशा सभी को संरक्षण ही दिया है.

कालान्तर में हिन्दू समाज में कुछ दोष आ गए क्योंकि उसे अपनी ही रक्षा में लगना पड़ा. इन दोषों में एक दोष जाति आधारित भेदभाव का आ गया. भेदभाव मिटाने का काम सामूहिक रूप से सभी के प्रयासों से संभव है.  अगर समाज से जाति हट नहीं सकती तो भूलने की कोशिश करें और अगर भूलना भी संभव नहीं हो तो जाति के आधार पर भेदभाव बंद करना चाहिए .

उन्होंने कहा कश्मीर से कन्याकुमारी तक, राजस्थान से मणिपुर तक इस देश में रहने वालो में कुछेक बाते एक समान है जैसे हिन्दू समाज के व्यक्तियों के नाम, बोली जाने वाली भाषा, धार्मिक ग्रन्थ, हमारे देवी देवता, तीर्थ यात्रा के स्थल, प्रेरणास्त्रोत महापुरुष आदि कोई भी जाति आधारित नहीं है. हम प्राणी मात्र में ईश्वर है यह मानने वाले है. इसलिए समाज में गौ माता, नाग देवता, तुलसी, पीपल भूमि आदि सबकी पूजा बिना जातिगत भेदभाव के होती है. क्रांतीकारियो के जाति कोई पूछता है क्या ? तो फिर जाति आधारित भेदभाव क्यों?

उन्होंने कहा कि समाज के सामने दूसरी बड़ी चुनौती सामाजिक न्याय की है. सामाजिक प्रश्न व सामाजिक समस्याओं का हल समाज के अग्रणियों को ही निकालना पड़ता है . सामाजिक समस्याओं के हल की सरकार नहीं निकल सकती. उदहारण के तौर पर सरकार ने शराब बंदी का कानून तो बना दिया परन्तु शराब का सेवन नहीं रुका. जब तक समाज में जागृति नहीं आएगी तब तक यह कानून प्रभावी नहीं हो सकता. सरकार का काम सामाजिक समस्याओं को सुलझाने का नहीं है वह नागरिक सुविधाएँ प्रदान करना है.

श्री भैया जी ने कहा कि तीसरी बड़ी चुनौती हमारे जीवन मूल्यों की रक्षा करना है. इसके लिए अपने यहाँ परिवार की व्यवस्था है. अपने यहाँ पहला गुरु माँ को माना गया है. परिवार में ही बच्चे को संस्कार मिलते है. परिवार, कानून के हिसाब से नहीं चलता. माता पिता के कर्तव्य में संतान को अच्छे संस्कार देना भी है, केवल सुविधाएँ देना नहीं. अपने कर्तव्यों का पालन ही धर्म है. धर्म का मतलब पूजा पाठ करना आदि नहीं है. पिछले कुछ समय से अपने यहाँ कर्तव्यों की बजाय अधिकारों का स्मरण ज्यादा होने लगा, जिससे अनेक समस्याएँ खड़ी हो गयी.

परिवार प्रबोधन के लिए भैय्याजी ने चाणक्य के सूत्रों की विवेचना करते हुए बताया कि पहला सूत्र महिलाओं को माँ के समान मानना, दूसरा सूत्र पराये धन को मिट्टी समान मानना, तीसरा सूत्र यह मानना कि ‘जैसा मै हूँ वैसा तू है’ और इन सभी सूत्रों को देखने वाला, मानने वाला ‘हिन्दू’ है.

उन्होंने देश के सामने खड़े संकटों का जिक्र करते हुए कहा कि  हिंसाचार, भ्रष्टाचार, दुराचार व मिथ्याचार से समाज को सुरक्षित करना है तो समाज में परिवर्तन लाकर ही किया जा सकता है, आधुनिक कालखंड में अधिकारों की चर्चा होती है, कर्तव्य की नहीं, समाज में परिवर्तन लाने के लिए अधिकार नहीं कर्तव्य का स्मरण कराना आवश्यक है और इसके लिए सरकार पर  निर्भर नहीं रहा जा सकता.

स्वामी विवेकानंद को उदृत करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि अगर भारत में धर्म, संस्कृति व जीवन मूल्य नष्ट हो गए तो यह विश्व में सभी जगह नष्ट हो जायेगे. इसलिए इन्हें सुरक्षित रखने के लिए व बड़े संघर्ष से निपटने के लिए हिन्दू समाज को संकुचित विचारों से उपर उठना होगा, उसे शक्तिशाली होना होगा, भेदभाव मिटाना होगा तभी हम एक बार फिर गौरवशाली हिन्दू समाज बन पाएंगे व तभी विश्व का कल्याण होगा.

New Delhi. The Media and critics should stop blind criticism of RSS, said former BBC stalwart Mark Tully. He was speaking on the occasion of a book release titled “Modi & His Challenges”, penned by Rajiv Kumar.

BBC icon Mark Tully who was the voice and face of foreign media in India for many years, has welcomed the book saying that critics should stop RSS baiting and instead engage with it, endorsing a view that Rajiv Kumar expresses in the book.

Apropos to your (Outlook) cover story titled “Operation Baby lift”, dated August 8, 2016, we wish to state that what you have packaged as investigation material of three months is nothing but the perverted imaginings of a sick mind. And it is a fool’s errand to expect that such writers (as the concerned journalist, Neha Dixit) will understand the meaning of two simple but profound words in English language – Service & Virtue. We pity such minds.

Be that as may, you should know that the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in the Subhramanian Swamy v UOI held that reputation is a basic human right and is a basic ingredient of right to life. Article 21 grants to the citizens right to live with dignity and not just animal existence.

In her entire 15-page story, Ms Neha Dixit repeatedly states that the 31 Bodo tribal girls between the age of 3- 11 years were taken from Assam to hostels in Patiala, and Gujarat by Rashtra Sevika Samiti whole timers (Pracharikas). She goes on to say that these girls are made to get up at as early at 6 am, perform prarthana (prayer), recite gayatri mantra and play games of national pride and chant patriotic salutations like Kashmir hamara hai. These girls recite Gayatri Mantra and folklores in an impressive manner. These acts appear devious to Ms Dixit. Ask any parent in most households of India, (that is if you understand the words parent & household), how hard they try to instill these very traditions and values in children, often even hiring teachers.

Ms Dixit further states that the wholetimers i.e.Pracharaks who recruit these girls from Bodo areas are themselves Bodos of sterling character. They epitomize women’s empowerment. And she states that the local RSS followers who were instrumental in sending the girls from Assam to RSS schools in other states had even sent their own daughter with these girls for education. Many of these tribal girls upon getting education from different areas come back to these tribal areas and become teachers and principals in RSS run schools and other schools. They build their communities and clans, live a better life based on this very education, that Ms Dixit vilifies.

All the experience on the ground points to good educational work being done for simple tribal people, marginal folks, in our country in an attitude of selfless service and nation building. So it is difficult to fathom what propels this proclivity to slur RSS and RSS run/backed institutions. And Madam, RSS pracharikas slog 24X7, 365 days a year in these areas to spread this gift of education, it is a slog you would not be able to withstand for a day.

Obviously your depraved mind cannot comprehend such labours, so you conjure a criminality and see the education of poor tribal girls in hostels of different states as “Trafficking”. This, sending of girls for education to hostels in different states is your defining principle for Trafficking. If this is the yardstick, then by your standards all parents who send their children to study in hostels in different states are traffickers, as are the Institutions that accept and educate them.

Since you seem to be terribly opinionated and very ignorant at the same time, let me enlighten you on the meaning of trafficking –

(a) Oxford Dictionary: The action or practice of illegally transporting people from one country or area to another, typically for the purposes of forced labour or commercial sexual exploitation

(b)Webster Dictionary: organized criminal activity in which human beings are treated as possessions to be controlled and exploited (as by being forced into prostitution or involuntary labor.

(c) United Nation’s Protocol to Prevent, Suppress and Punish Trafficking in Persons Trafficking in Persons as the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring or receipt of persons, by means of the threat or use of force or other forms of coercion, of abduction, of fraud, of deception, of the abuse of power or of a position of vulnerability or of the giving or receiving of payments or benefits to achieve the consent of a person having control over another person, for the purpose of exploitation. Exploitation shall include, at a minimum, the exploitation of the prostitution of others or other forms of sexual exploitation, forced labour or services, slavery or practices similar to slavery, servitude or the removal of organs.

In your entire article, despite your hatred for the RSS and its welfare projects, you have not been able to say even a word to the effect that these tribal girls were transported for bonded labour or sexual exploitation. You are journalist- professional ethics is expected of you. Wield the pen responsibly not like a barbarian wielding his execution axe. Pushing up subscription and revenues by printing canards and sensationalizing through use of derogatory words such as “RSS Outfits trafficking girls” on the front page, is the pursuit of filthy lucre.
As for your emphasis on the cover page and on violating the Indian and international laws and guidelines, I think you need to be educated in this sphere also:

None of these Indian and international guidelines are violated by RSS outfits. The parents have given their consent to the RSS outfits to take their children for education – then how on earth are the Juvenile Justice Act 2000 or other laws are applicable in this case?

The Supreme Court order of 2010 was in connection with orphanages and transportation of 76 Christian girls by the missionaries which is also not applicable in this case.

Remember you are here talking about the RSS, a mighty stream of moral and ethical conduct. You can have ideological differences even hatred, but do not slur.

The Rashtra Sevika Samiti is the world’s largest women’s organization, working in tribal and difficult areas of India among people who have no wherewithal to aspire for a better life. Respect it. It is arduous, dedicated work in service of the motherland, that is Bharat.

Chennai. The news of Hindus threatening to convert to Islam in tiny village of Pazhangallikkadu in Nagappattinam District of Tamilnadu was disturbing, but the dust has been settled down peacefully and mischievous anti-Hindu forces were shown exit door.

A visit of Sri Sendalankara Sampathkumara Ramanuja Jeeyar into Pazhangallikkadu village and his interaction with villagers all day long have changed the things. Distribution of notebooks to school kids and performing an Homam at Mahalakshmi with all villagers settled the rising dust.

For this Homam, Jeeyar graciously called one Senthil who was spearheading the revolt and goading the people to convert, and honoured him to be the head of the ritual and made him take the oath to be responsible for the smooth conduct. After the successful conduct of the Homam, the Jeeyar distributed the ‘prasad’ to all villagers as the benign grace of the Goddess.

Recently, Tavheed Jamaat volunteers, in Pazhangallikkadu artificially generated caste conflicts with purpose of creating religious unrest and inducing the hapless villagers to convert to Islam on the reason of social injustice in Hindu society.

Going into the details of the trouble, the village Pazhangallikkadu comprises people of many communities prominent among them being the Pillai. The festival in the Tamil month of Adi (July-August)  is very famous there as it is elsewhere in the State. The people of the Pillai community have, for years, been conducting one of the three mandakappadis, a part of the festival at Pazhangallikkadu in their age old  traditional customary way, the other two are the prerogative of the HR & CE Board. The other communities like Mukkulathor, Vanniyar, Adi Dravidar and etc participate wholeheartedly in the other regular temple rituals like pal kudam etc.

There has never been any objection whatsoever of all involving in the temple rituals or worship. If and when the government decides to offer its right to perform the mandakappadi to the Adidravidar community, whatever simmering remonstration that would arise occasionally, would be quelled by amicable means and temple festivities continued to everyone’s content.

But this year witnessed an unsavoury development. Aided and abetted by VCK (a political party said to be fighting for social justice), the Tamil Nadu Tavheed Jamaat (an Islamist outfit known for its anti idol worship propaganda) created a rift among the communities citing non-existent religious intolerance and have managed to hoodwink the villagers to go to the extent of converting to Islam.

The activists of Hindu organisations have, for the last one month, been meeting people on both sides and striving their every nerve in order to unearth the root cause of all these troubles and finally it ended in exposing the anti-Hindu forces to villagers.

The world will flourish when all cultures in their diversity are respected, RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat Ji said as he called Hinduism as a religion which is “more inclusive and not exclusive”.

Sarsanghchalak Ji described Hinduism as a way of life as he addressed concluding session of the three-day Sanskriti MahaShibir organised by UK Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh at Hertfordshire. He spoke about the positive aspects of Hinduism which believed in the principle of Vasudeva Kutumbakam (the world is one family).

"In a diverse world, every culture has to be respected and when all cultures are respected, the world will flourish," the RSS Sarsanghchalak told over 2,200 delegates from the UK and the Europe who attended the MahaShibir.

He said Hinduism is "more inclusive and not exclusive". Dr. Mohan Bhagwat Ji also spoke about the conflict between development and environment and said "Hinduism has answers to the question should environment be compromised because of development. Emphasising that exercise is essential for a healthy body and mind, he said "healthy society depends on leading a disciplined life, with proper eating habits and regular exercise."

During the three-day deliberations there were in-depth discussion among others on Sanskaar (values of life), Sewa (selfless service) and Sangathan (community spirit). The mahaShibir was addressed among others by Swami Daytmananda, Head of Ramakrishna Vedanta Centre UK, Smami Nirliptananda, Head of London Sewashram Sangh UK and Acharya Viday Bhaskar, Omkaranda Ashram Switzerland.

The Deputy Mayor of London for Business, Mr Rajesh Agrawal, attended a breakfast meeting with top business leaders and HSS UK on Friday. An exhibition displaying the numerous achievements of HSS UK in the past 50 years was a special attraction at the event.

RSS inspired socio-cultural organisation HSS UK which started its activities in 1966 in UK. HSS is involved in Charity, Spiritual activities and many other Social activities which is always an inspiration for all.

In earlier years, HSS has got appreciation from PM Margaret Thacher to PM David Cameroon for its immense contribution in fostering the message of Universal Brotherhood (Vasudhaiva Kudumbakam) through social works and spiritual activities inspired from Sanatana Dharma.

गुजरात (विसंकें). सामाजिक समरसता मंच, गुजरात ने बुधवार 03 अगस्त को सामाजिक अग्रणियों तथा संतों-महंतों की उपस्थिति में “ सामाजिक सद्भाव सम्मेलन “ का ऊना, भावनगर में आयोजन किया. इस सम्मेलन में संत समाज ने एक आवाज में ऊना की घटना के पीड़ितों के प्रति सहानुभूति व्यक्त की तथा पीड़ित का साथ देने के लिए संपूर्ण हिन्दू समाज से आह्वान किया. संतों ने कहा कि इस प्रकार की घटनाएं संपूर्ण समाज की मानसिकता का प्रतिबिंब न मानी जाए. कुछेक स्थापित हित रखने वाले लोग समाज की भावनाएं भड़का कर समाज को विघटित करने का प्रयास कर रहे हैं, हम सब को साथ मिलकर इस प्रकार के तत्वों को असफल बनाना है. एकात्म और समरस समाज का निर्माण करने के लिए हम सब कटिबद्ध हैं.

सम्मेलन के समारोप में राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ पश्चिम क्षेत्र के संघचालक डॉ. जयंतीभाई भाड़ेसिया जी ने कहा कि ऊना के समधियाला गांव की घटना के संदर्भ में राजकीय एवं समाज विरोधी तत्व स्वहित के लिए शांति एवं समरसता नष्ट करने का प्रयत्न कर रहे हैं, ऐसे समय में पूजनीय साधू-संत समरसता के भागीरथ कार्य में लगे हैं. राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ तो अपने स्थापन काल से ही हिन्दू समाज की समरसता के लिए प्रयत्नशील है.

सामाजिक सद्भाव सम्मेलन में संतों की उपस्थिति में समरसता के लिए प्रस्ताव पारित किया गया –

1. ऊना के समधियाला गांव की घटना तथा इस प्रकार की अन्य घटनाएं निंदनीय हैं, अमानवीय हैं.

2. गौ-रक्षा के नाम से होने वाले असामाजिक कृत्य की संत समाज कड़े शब्दों में निंदा करता है. गौ-रक्षा के नाम से होने वाली असामाजिक प्रवृति बंद होनी चाहिए. गौ-रक्षा के नाम से निर्दोष बंधुओं पर अत्याचार करना एक सामाजिक अपराध है. सरकार को भी ऐसे तत्वों के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्यवाही करनी चाहिए.

3. अस्पृश्यता हिन्दू समाज का महारोग है, यह समाज के कुछ लोगों की मानसिकता है. संत समाज, हिन्दू समाज को इस मानसिक रोग से मुक्त करने के लिए कटिबद्ध है. अस्पृश्यता को संत समाज अमान्य करता है. समाज से ऊँचनीच का भेदभाव दूर होना चाहिए, अपने ही बंधुओं के साथ छुआछूत का व्यवहार करना पाप है. हिन्दू समाज इस पाप से मुक्त हो, यही प्रत्येक नागरिक का जीवन लक्ष्य बने, ऐसी संत समाज अपील करता है.

4. हिन्दू धर्म के चिंतन में प्राणी मात्र के हृदय में परमात्मा का वास है. अस्पृश्यता, ऊँचनीच का भेद अमान्य है. एकात्मता तथा सामाजिक समरसता ही हिन्दू समाज का प्राण है. हिन्दू मात्र इस जीवन मंत्र को समर्पित हो, ऐसी संत समाज अपेक्षा रखता है.

राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के सह सरकार्यवाह डॉ. कृष्ण गोपाल जी ने कहा कि भारत के शिक्षक का दायित्व बनता है कि भारतीय आध्यात्मिक दृष्टि से विद्यार्थियों को परिचित करवायें. भारतीयों में अपार प्रतिभा है, जिसका लोहा सारा विश्व मानता है. पाश्चात्य जगत के शिक्षक और भारतीय शिक्षक में ये ही अंतर है कि पाश्चात्य जगत में शिक्षक का विद्यार्थी से व्यावसायिक सम्बन्ध है, भारी शुल्क लेकर शिक्षक ज्ञान प्रदान करता है. परंतु भारत में शिक्षक विद्यार्थी सम्बन्ध गुणात्मक है, जिसमें मनुष्य तत्व गुण जगाने हेतु शिक्षक विद्यार्थियों को विश्व ज्ञान के साथ साथ संस्कार एवं आध्यात्मिक क्षमता तथा राष्ट्रीय दायित्व बोध प्रदान करता है ताकि विद्यार्थी का सर्वांगीण व्यक्तित्व विकास हो. आज शिक्षक को इसी दिशा में अपना ध्यान केंद्रित करने की आवश्यकता है.

भारत सरकार के आधिकारिक आंकड़ों से यह पता चलता है कि पूरे भारत वर्ष में लगभग 31.5  करोड़ विद्यार्थी हैं. युवा देश की इस धरोहर के निर्माण में संलग्न प्राध्यापक सही मायनों में देश के भविष्य के निर्माता हैं. इसी लक्ष्य को लेकर मालवा प्रान्त में लगातार दूसरे वर्ष एक तीन दिवसीय प्रांतीय प्राध्यापक नैपुण्य वर्ग दिनांक 5,6,7 अगस्त को इंदौर में संपन्न हुआ. वर्ग में राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के सह सरकार्यवाह डॉ. कृष्णगोपाल जी का मार्गदर्शन प्राप्त हुआ.

सह सरकार्यवाह जी ने भारत जीवन दर्शन और राष्ट्र की परिकल्पना पर विचार रखते हुए कहा कि भारत एक सनातन राष्ट्र है, इसको बनाना नहीं समझना है. नेशन और राष्ट्र दोनों अलग अलग शब्द हैं अर्थात दोनों के निहितार्थ अलग अलग है. वर्ष 1789 में फ़्रांस क्रांति हुई, उसके बाद नेशनलिज्म शब्द अस्तित्व में आया. अन्यान्य देशों में इसकी अलग अलग परिभाषा है, विश्व में कई नेशन (देश) भाषा, जाति, संप्रदाय, आर्थिक आधार पर निर्मित हुए. इसी नेशन शब्द को भारत के राष्ट्र की कल्पना से जोड़ दिया गया, जबकि भारत के राष्ट्र की कल्पना बहुत अलग है. भारत में कई आक्रमणकारी आए, परंतु वे भारत की संस्कृति में विलीन हो गए. पाश्चात्य नेशन की कल्पना Exclusiveness पर आधारित है, जबकि भारतीय राष्ट्र की कल्पना Inclusiveness पर आधारित है. भारत के राजा, सेना, सेनापति तो हारे पर राष्ट्र दर्शन सदैव विजयी रहा क्योंकि हमारे राष्ट्र का आधार राजा नहीं था, संस्कृति में आध्यात्मिकता थी, सर्वसमन्वयता का गुण भारत का दर्शन है जो विश्व में अद्वितीय है, इस्लाम के आक्रमण के समय भी विभिन्न धर्मगुरु जैसे कबीर, नानकदेव, रैदास, तुलसीदास, समर्थ रामदास आदि द्वारा हिन्दुत्व का प्रचार प्रसार चलता रहा अर्थात राष्ट्र जीवित रहा. अंग्रेजों के शासनकाल में भी महर्षि अरविन्द, स्वामी विवेकानंद, तिलक, बंकिमचंद चटोपाध्याय आदि के माध्यम से आध्यात्मिकता जीवित रही. यह धरती हमारी माँ है, यह दर्शन भी हमारे ऋषियों ने दिया “माता भूमि पुत्रोहम पृथिव्या” हमारे दर्शन में पृथ्वी का प्रत्येक अवयय पूजनीय है ( नदी, पर्वत, सरोवर, वृक्ष आदि) और इन सबके पीछे भारत राष्ट्र का आधार हिन्दू है.

प्रांतीय प्राध्यापक नैपुण्य वर्ग में कुल 7 विभागों से प्रतिनिधित्व रहा, जिसमें 76 महाविद्यालयों से कुल 17 प्राचार्य/डायरेक्टर, 16 रिसर्च स्कॉलर तथा कुल 188 प्राध्यापक उपस्तिथ थे. इस तीन दिवसीय नैपुण्य वर्ग में राष्ट्र का गौरव, शिक्षक की भूमिका, भारतीय जीवन दर्शन आदि विषयों पर सत्र हुए एवं जिज्ञासा समाधान भी किया गया. तीन दिवसीय वर्ग में मुख्य रूप से  क्षेत्रीय संघ चालक अशोक जी सोहनी, प्रान्त संघचालक डॉ. प्रकाश जी शास्त्री, प्रान्त प्रचारक पराग जी अभ्यंकर, सह प्रान्त प्रचारक डॉ. श्रीकांत जी, सह प्रान्त कार्यवाह विनीत नवाथे उपस्तिथ थे.

Narad Jayanti and Patrakaar Samman Samaroh was held in Chennai on 7^th August, 2016. Journalists in various fields were rewarded for their contribution in the field of journalism. Sudharshan Ji All India Radio, Sriniivasan Ji Prime Point, Nijanthan Ji Win TV, Smt. Lokanayaki Ji Kumudham Snagithi received the award at the function conducted by Vishwa Samvad Kendra, Tamilnadu.

Veerabagu Ji, Vijayabharatham in the Presidential Speech narrated the resistance from the leftists’, Dravidians which constituted 70% which has led to this situation of very many good things left untold whereas the bad things come to limelight with all glitter and hypocrisies projecting India not so safe or secure, which our media are doing with utmost deliberation. We all know that the truth is otherwise. Vishwa Samvad Kendra has always propagated ONE COUNTRY ONE PEOPLE, from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. They have trained students in encouraging their journalistic flair. In a recent HSSF fair, he regaled about how students worshipped teachers in the old traditional way and the participation of students in the Vivekananda Ratha Yatra. He also praised the honesty and the straight forwardness of 2 brothers who collect papers from houses in Rajasthan, when they found money in a cover worth Rs.1 lakh (a 1000 Rupee bundle of 100 no’s) with a girl’s name on it and the brothers searched each and every house they picked paper and lastly found the house and returned the money to the legitimate owners. Such good news doesn’t come on the media ever that’s the irony. He concluded by saying that Narad had a unique quality of saying news through stories.

Sudharshan Ji of All India Radio in his speech said “people always thought of Narad as an object of criticism, though being son of Lord Brahma, the proverbial trouble shooter but the result always ended well. He was an exponent in music and knew to play instrument veena very well. Narad and hanuman share the honour of being chiranjeevis amongst 12 others. He is called the SUTRADHARI of Mahabharata, a TRILOK SANCHARI and an ideal Journalist. It was always believed that what problem was created by Narad always ended well. Now the scenario has changed, people have no Desh bhakti and have long forgotten people who have fought for our country’s freedom. People have become selfish and have forgotten that Dharma not only teaches one to be with god also the bhakti bhavanas, emotions that goes with bhakti.”

Niranjan Ji of Win TV in his speech shared the woes of the media that people have become used to watching and listening in English, that in Tamilnadu, Owing to the people not being so fluent in Tamizh mozhi, whether the right information and news reaches the mass? He voiced his concern over tamizh language being not so popularly used as it was once. And whether people would lose the comfort of using their mother tongue tamizh? This was not a threat few years back.”

Smt. Loganayaki of Kumudham Snagithi in her speech praised the literary gathering having given the apt name Narad Jayanti, reminiscing her past. She emphasized on the parent guide to the children at young age. Appealing women on the need to have intelligence and knowledge, she said the times are changing from being a modern society now is going back to traditional ways.

Srinivasan Ji Prime Point said that Narad was a great communicator. It was Sanjayan who paved the way for Bhagavad Gita and Mahabharata. With the onslaught of the English media, he said we are making ourselves fully inferior. With his positive approach towards, educational loan, task force said that he set not as activists but as actionists. He encouraged everyone to celebrate the actions achievers and reiterated that 90% is good in media. For most of us very many good people are not known and we don’t celebrate goodness in them. Lastly he said that DIGITAL JOURNALISM  is going to be the, THE THING.”

Nanda Kumar Ji Akhil Bharatiya Sah Prachar Pramuk, RSS in his speech said that in Mahabharata there are 24 shlokas defining who Narad is, “one who knows several meanings for one word” “one meaning for several words”. He emphasised that the meeting point of the Bharat was not there in media, as there was no oneness in thought and action by the media, where wrong reporting goes in the garb ofFREEDOM OF EXPRESSIONand the truth never comes out, there is no nationalistic feeling at all.

“Mahatma Gandhi Ji became a journalist in South Africa when he wrote for INDIAN OPINION in 1906, where he stated that ‘A Journalist should be true to his faith, he should not write anything in anger or hatred and he should not write when he is idle and will not write to excite passion’. A Journalist should peep into himself and try to discover their weaknesses. He also quoted Mahatma Gandhi’s words, often when his vanity dictated, he made his anger a harsh attitude and made it a terrible ordeal or Agni pareeksha”.

Before freedom, journalism was a service, with the likes of Dr. Ambedkar, Dr. Hegdewar who played the role of journalists, thought that journalism was a spiritual training. But today journalism has become a trade and does not function with morals and ethics. Ultimate knowledge takes one to the Nar, Nara and Manushya forms differentiation. In Journalism full knowledge, about the subject matter should be there and proper cross check of the information should also be assessed. Narad manifested DHARMIC PRINCIPLES in Ramayana where he sung 64 qualities of Rama and DHARMIC TWIST in Mahabharata. NARAD SMRITI is well known for Narad qualities and for everyone to know about him well.”

Pens can be mightier than swords….when media and literature can make huge impact in the minds of the people, they become the mightiest tool for COMMUNICATION, with ultimate truth put to test, it’s for the media to come out clean without being partial, giving no room for hypocrisies and being consistent to earn the good faith of the people,” said Nandakumar.

The news of Hindus threatening to convert to Islam

Chennai. The news of Hindus threatening to convert to Islam in tiny village of Pazhangallikkadu in Nagappattinam District of Tamilnadu was disturbing, but the dust has been settled down peacefully and mischievous anti-Hindu forces were shown exit door.

A visit of Sri Sendalankara Sampathkumara Ramanuja Jeeyar into Pazhangallikkadu village and his interaction with villagers all day long have changed the things. Distribution of notebooks to school kids and performing an Homam at Mahalakshmi with all villagers settled the rising dust.

For this Homam, Jeeyar graciously called one Senthil who was spearheading the revolt and goading the people to convert, and honoured him to be the head of the ritual and made him take the oath to be responsible for the smooth conduct. After the successful conduct of the Homam, the Jeeyar distributed the ‘prasad’ to all villagers as the benign grace of the Goddess.

Recently, Tavheed Jamaat volunteers, in Pazhangallikkadu artificially generated caste conflicts with purpose of creating religious unrest and inducing the hapless villagers to convert to Islam on the reason of social injustice in Hindu society.

Going into the details of the trouble, the village Pazhangallikkadu comprises people of many communities prominent among them being the Pillai. The festival in the Tamil month of Adi (July-August)  is very famous there as it is elsewhere in the State. The people of the Pillai community have, for years, been conducting one of the three mandakappadis, a part of the festival at Pazhangallikkadu in their age old  traditional customary way, the other two are the prerogative of the HR & CE Board. The other communities like Mukkulathor, Vanniyar, Adi Dravidar and etc participate wholeheartedly in the other regular temple rituals like pal kudam etc.

There has never been any objection whatsoever of all involving in the temple rituals or worship. If and when the government decides to offer its right to perform the mandakappadi to the Adidravidar community, whatever simmering remonstration that would arise occasionally, would be quelled by amicable means and temple festivities continued to everyone’s content.

But this year witnessed an unsavoury development. Aided and abetted by VCK (a political party said to be fighting for social justice), the Tamil Nadu Tavheed Jamaat (an Islamist outfit known for its anti idol worship propaganda) created a rift among the communities citing non-existent religious intolerance and have managed to hoodwink the villagers to go to the extent of converting to Islam.

The activists of Hindu organisations have, for the last one month, been meeting people on both sides and striving their every nerve in order to unearth the root cause of all these troubles and finally it ended in exposing the anti-Hindu forces to villagers.

समाज के कुछ असामाजिक तत्वों के द्वारा गौरक्षा के नाम पर कुछ स्थानों पर कानून अपने हाथ में ले कर एवं हिंसा फैलाकर समाज का सौहार्द दूषित करने के प्रयास किया जा रहे है । इससे गौरक्षा एवं गौसेवा के पवित्र कार्य के प्रति आशंकाएं  उठ सकती है । राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ देशवासियों से आवाहन करता  है की गौरक्षा के नाम पर कुछ मुठ्ठी भर अवसरवादी लोगों के ऐसे निंदनीय प्रयासों को ,  गौरक्षा के पवित्र कार्य में लगे देशवासियों से ना जोड़े और उनका असली चेहरा सामने लायें । राज्य सरकारों से भी हम आवाहन करते है कि ऐसे तत्वों पर उचित कानूनी कार्यवाही करें तथा गौरक्षा एवं गौसेवा के सच्चे कार्य को बाधित न होने दे|भारत एक कृषि प्रधान देश है और भारतीय गौ सदैव देश की कृषि का आधार रही है| रासायनिक खाद एवं कीटनाशकों के बेतहाशा प्रयोग से जब सारा विश्व पीड़ित है तब गौ आधारित आर्गेनिक कृषि का महत्व और भी बढ़ जाता है, इसलिए गौसेवा और गौरक्षा के सम्बन्ध में हिन्दू समाज तथा अन्य समाज बंधुओं की श्रद्धा एक महत्त्वपूर्ण पक्ष है | गाँधी जी, विनोबा जी तथा मालवीय के सहश श्रेष्ठ व्यक्तियों ने इस पवित्र कार्य को इसीलिए अपने जीवन का प्रमुख कार्य माना था |
